Wittekerke

This one is light gold in color. Has hints of citrus and lemons. This one was nothing special for me. Maybe for others, but this just isn’t my type of beer.

Bottled, 330 ml. Haze pale yellow with white head. Aroma is sweety and yeasty. Light body and low bitterness. Taste is also sweet and fruitywith notes of coriander and citrus

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a cloudy yellow with white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, a little bubble gum, faint banana. Flavor is exactly the same, pretty good. Mouth feel is light-medium body with fizzy carbonation. Over all, good stuff! Refreshing..

Pretty solid beer with a complex palate, first hinted at by the citrusy aroma. It seems to taste of lemon and oranges, perhaps? A soapy sort of smoothness akin to Hoegaarden is present here. This beer was quite satisfying and appears to be underrated here.

[1871-20081204] 330mL can. Sweet honeysuckle flower aroma. Hazy, light yellow white body with a quick creamy white head. Light honey and sweet flower yeast flavour has a strange spice. Light body. Fair.

Opaque yellow haze with a thin white head. Smells like fruity pebbles cereal. Taste is heavy on the lemon and is watery.

pours from the can and releases a wonderful perfume and light fruit aroma ... yellow gold. .. outta site, pretty taste .. . a great canned brew .. . turns silly and boring after a while ...

Pours light yellow. with 1 finger white head. Smell is not to pronounced, not picking up too much of anything, maybe just a little bit of lemon or citrus of some kind. Taste yeasty, tad lemony. pretty smooth feel, but not a whole lot of great flavor, although it is pretty refreshing, good lawnmower brew for sure. Overall this is a decent wit. Stil would rather pick up a hoegaarden over this, but the price is a cheaper, so it may when out when im in the mood.
