3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KyotoLefty (3480) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 12, 2011
Can from Delhaize supermarket in Leuven. Old backlogged rate from 2005. A rather interesting wit, the best of a tasting we did of less well-known wits. Spicy, flavorful, with decent wheat malt character. A bit too sweet, though drinkable and refreshing.

Cloudy whitish yellow in color with a very thin head. Low carbonation. Slight citrus & malt aroma. Slightly watered down tangy orange citrus flavor. Overall, it’s fairly average. Good for drinking in the summer months.

It is a lower level Witbier. It is extremely light and drinkable. It comes in either cans or bottles.

Cloudy pale yellow with a small, foamy white head that leaves strings of lacing. Mostly lemon and banana in the aroma, with wheat and spices. Citrus, and banana in the flavor. Light body with moderate carbonation. Not bad but has an unusual flavor.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 jeff789 (1206) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 19, 2011
Almost clear yellow, small white head, a little lively... Slight coriander, some malt sweetness, citrusy... Mild flavors, some lime, grassy finish... light to medium light body, not very lively, a little dry... a little disappointing for a relatively famous beer, but guess the fame comes from the can...

from a can. Pours hazy pale gold, with white head. Aroma of wheat, spices, lemon. Flavor delivers a crisp belgian ale, somewhat thin in palate but not offensively so, refreshing, good for a session, still full of flavor. Notes of spices, lemon, apple. Nice.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jkwood04 (1204) - Connecticut, USA - DEC 30, 2010
11.2oz bottle in a tumbler. Pours light, opaque golden with a thin white head. Aroma like a Belgian wit mixed with a pale lager. Nowhere near as good as Hoegaarden. A little citrus on the finish. A decent beer, but there are better wits.
