Nice looking beer, lots of white head with a light hazy body. I'm not an expert on wheats, but I felt the flavor was a little weak. Contrary to other raters, I didn't pick up any spice or orange flavors. Hmm...

Sold as Wittekerke, from tap, Café Morshuis in Albergen. Herbal, strong citrusflavor. Strong lemonaroma. Apple, chalk and just a bit milky. Nice and fresh.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Damn near white out of the Wittekerke bottle with a white head. Odd nose of lemon, vinegar and Play-Doh. Some spice flavors with lots of bread dough and something artificial that I can't quite place. Just odd, and I usually like witbier.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
An enjoyable witbier. The appearance was correct for the style, hazy whitish yellow. Head diminished slowly but surely. Aroma was primarily of wheat with some faint spiciness in the back, nice. The flavor was that of a good witbier, wheat, then some very gentle spiciness, and a touch of orange on the finish. Enjoyable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear white color. A light fruity aroma. Has a medium bodied palate with a light watery character. I had my doubts, beer in a can. expecting more from a Witbier. Still a highly drinkable beer.

11.2 oz. can Interestingly unassuming can, packaged in plastic-ring sixpack style. About as far from the average sixpack as you can get, however, with a light, frothy feel and delicate, flowery perfumed aroma. Taste is lightly sweet and understated, nothing but a prickle of bitterness in the middle. Amazingly, clumps of sediment at the bottom of the glass. And if you're feeling really naughty, you can guzzle it out of the can. Nice!

i had this beer in a lovely non-beer-like 11.2 ounce can; the nose on this beer is fruity, spicy and very inviting! a nice pale, golden white beer with little sediment. a nice, refreshing lawn mowing beer. perfect for fourth of july fireworks on the beach, in fact :]

I had a canned 'Wittekerke'. Nice spicy, fruity smell. Bit sour taste; citrus, spices. Refreshing, but not a superb belgian white.

Very nice. Very refreshing, with spice flavors a bit toned down from Hoeegaarden.

Pours a clouded golden with a big pillowy head. Body is light, smooth and malty with a touch of spice. Bready yeast character is evident. A decent a highly drinkable wit.
