2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear white color. A light fruity aroma. Has a medium bodied palate with a light watery character. I had my doubts, beer in a can. expecting more from a Witbier. Still a highly drinkable beer.

11.2 oz. can Interestingly unassuming can, packaged in plastic-ring sixpack style. About as far from the average sixpack as you can get, however, with a light, frothy feel and delicate, flowery perfumed aroma. Taste is lightly sweet and understated, nothing but a prickle of bitterness in the middle. Amazingly, clumps of sediment at the bottom of the glass. And if you're feeling really naughty, you can guzzle it out of the can. Nice!

i had this beer in a lovely non-beer-like 11.2 ounce can; the nose on this beer is fruity, spicy and very inviting! a nice pale, golden white beer with little sediment. a nice, refreshing lawn mowing beer. perfect for fourth of july fireworks on the beach, in fact :]

I had a canned 'Wittekerke'. Nice spicy, fruity smell. Bit sour taste; citrus, spices. Refreshing, but not a superb belgian white.

Very nice. Very refreshing, with spice flavors a bit toned down from Hoeegaarden.

Pours a clouded golden with a big pillowy head. Body is light, smooth and malty with a touch of spice. Bready yeast character is evident. A decent a highly drinkable wit.

Straw colored, cloudy, white head. Aroma of lemon with a slight spice or pine. Very cleaning agent like. Slight sweet and sour begining. Spice/Sweet finish. Pretty allright coming from a can.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2005 As I am a witbier and German wiess fan, I knew I wouild like it. I did and though it wasn’t Hogarrden it is really great. I just finished it and have a great taste in my mouth. Fruity and tasty it is a little less unique then some but man its good. Mine was in a bottle which is probably the reason it was better than some of you thought. ! In my area this is sold as as wittekirke

Hazy, pale gold appearance with a small head and good lacing. Grapefruit-like nose. Nice balance of spice and fruit in the taste. Smooth finish.

Cloudy yellow but tons of lemon aroma. The taste was as expected (lemony and refreshing). Perhaps a bit more citrus than a Hoegaarden but very similar.
