I had this from the bottle... sour and lemony. I like the taste of this stuff but I don’t know whether I’d want to drink this stuff all night long...

Hazy straw colored body with a thin filmed head. Lemon yeast aroma. Starts off tart and dry with a lemon background. Not much after that. Finishes quick and is refreshing. Great for summer time.

Can. Pours a cloudy yellowish color with a fairly small white head on there. Nose has a lot of wheat and citrus in there, and seems like it would be a little bit sweet. Taste is only very slightly sweet, but has a lot of smooth wheat tones throughout and just a bit of fruit. OK.

On tap. Pours a dirty blonde with thin white head. Slightly sweet with a citrus overtone. Not too much to it.

Rated from notes taken 4 Sep 2011 -- A good wit. Good thing I tried this when I was going through my wheat/wit phase. I double I would like it as much now.

The old Bavik Witbier, renamed Wittekerke after a television soap which was popular in the nineties. Refreshing, spicy witbier, with gentle coriander and citrus peel, fluffy and soft, more bready than wheaty, light, elegant and quenching. Another Hoegaarden clone, but certainly of the same quality level, if not better.

Poured from a tap. Hazy light yellow color, small white head. Mild citrus and yeast aroma. Light body with a mild wheat shanty flavor and a light finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

can @ Vino Bellissimo / Lima OH --- hazy lemon straw color, thin rim head, no lace. Taste is as much lemon as it is wheat or malt, with mild spices showing up in the palate. Minimal biter in a short finish. Very average, maybe even below.

BOTTLE 25 CL. Look: cloudy pale yellow/straw, small white creamy head. Aroma: very weak, grains, husk, some herbal hop notes, lightly toasted bread. Taste: grainy, husky, some wheat tartness and light fruitiness. Watery and bland wit, without the traditional flavourings and spice.

"Shoulda had this in the summer :) light yellow pur, white cap that quickly disappears. aroma of cut grass and citrus, with a hint of spice. flavor is good. similar to the aroma but far too light. Body tingly and light as well. i know this is a light style, but this is a touch too light/thin. refreshing, though."
