Extemely cloudy, unfiltered appearance. Has a very strong fruit/spice smell. Sweet with some notes of yeast. Spicy finish. Not too bad.

A twist of orange fruit in the otherwise weak taste. Like a thin version of Howgaarden. Perfect on a hot summer day on the beach. I don’t know if this is a discount beer (I suppose it is, because I drank it from a can) but if it is, then it’s not a bad every-day-product.

The most urine-y smell I’ve encountered in a beer yet, plus vinegar and a bit of yeast. Bland wheat, watery texture, and it needs more spice. Not a wit to get worked up about, but a definite quaffer.

(draft) Small white head with opaque straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, banana, orange, wheat. Taste is medium sweet, wheat, orange peel, some lemon, a mellowing sweetness (motelpogo suggest camomille). Watery light palate.

Tap. Light hazy yellow apperance. Quick finish with a spicy aroma. Fails to live up to its class.

Well I said I would rate this again and here goes. Hazy milky yellow with significantly more head than I got last time although it was just a short lasting but it did leave some light lace. Light sour mash malt, some citric and very faint ginger coriander aromas - uhmmmmmm... much nicer than before. Smooth light bodied, mild citric sour and hoppy bitter start. Maltier sweeter middle and then a bland to nothing finish. A small but significant improvement over the previous rating. First rated 6/5/2002 2.3

I had a canned 'Wittekerke'. Nice spicy, fruity smell. Bit sour taste; citrus, spices. Refreshing, but not a superb belgian white.
