on tap at the berlinbierfest04 and served by nuns, well, when i asked they said they weren’t nuns but were just dressed up that way. what’s the world coming to? curious, apple and raw sugar aroma, plenty of golden syrup sweetness and slight woody sourness, strange stuff, pretty flat but not bad

Komisches Zeug. Draught. High creamy and lasting white head. Clear golden body. Sweet and mild malty aroma and flavor. Low carbonation Short aftertaste. Too sweet.

(6/21/08) Draught at the Leipziger Bierbörse festival in Leipzig. Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of adjuncts and grainy malt. Sweet grainy flavor with sugar. Light-bodied. This beer pretty much sucks, I had to water a near-by tree with it.

A strange beer. No idea where it is brewed. Simply named "Kuckucksbier". Asked Ludwiga Zerbst about it, It think it’s brewed in different breweries in different times. My one is a schwarzbier, 4,9 % ABV. The bottle looks terrible, the beer in the glass is not bad. Tastes modest malty, a little bit sweet. Dry finish, almost like a dunkel. Not bad!

Draught at BBF07 as Katharinen Kuckuckbier (Honigbier). Greyish brown colour. No head. The flavour is quite sweet, but I cannot really taste the honey.

Draft @ the brewpub. Some maltyness in the nose. Dark amber body with a small off-white head. Hoppy flavor, with some weak malt notes.

Draught at the brewpub. Amber coloured. Slightly malty aroma and flavour. Quite thin and weak. Nothing special about his.
