Deep golden, quite stable, almost creamy (and almost off-) white head; medium sweet caramelly nose, sorrounded by bready traces; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; quite short, bready and sweet-bitter finish with traces of alcohol. All in all a well quaffable DDR-Bock......

Apr 1, 2008 (bottle, courtesy of Koelschtrinker) Almost clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty, slightly bready nose with minimal traces of liquorice and herbal hops. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft and pleasant carbonation. Bready, cara-malty taste with balancing and bittering herbal hops; rounded sweet-bitter malt-accented finish. Not too sweet, quaffable pale Bock (01.04.08).
