Aromatic soft sweet malty aroma with notes of citrus and flowery hops. Bitter flavour with a late arriving sweetness, medium body, crispy carbonation. Soft malty, citrusy taste with well balanced floral and herbal hops; dry and elegant bitter finish with a lingering sweetbitter aftertaste. Superb !
cgreb (57), Marburg, Germany Oct 2, 2008 bottle - hazy golden beer with white head. Aroma has a lot of hops and grain. Malty sweetness is well balanced by a lot of hops. asheft (976), Marburg, Germany Oct 2, 2008 [bottle--thanks, pivnizub!]
Potent noble hops aroma that is a bit spicy and full of sweet malt and hay--maybe a touch of caramel. Hazy golden orange with a lasting, rocky, white head. Full of flavour: nearly caramelly base malt that is sweet but totally in balance with tons of hops that are practially spicy and just a touch salty. All of this is complimented nicely with hefty carbonation. Extremely quaffable and clean. Medium body. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 13, 2008 Bottled at the brewpub. Pale golden, small head. Grassy minerally nose- Dry and slim, a bit fruity. Less malty and less soft than their Vollbier. Minerals and hops are more evident instead, but results in a less drinkable beer. fonefan (4884), Ulfborg, Denmark Jun 1, 2008 Bottle. Light unlear light to medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, hay, grain, grass, fruity - apple.
