COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
This golden, pale blonde ale has a distinctive hoppy aroma derived from use of Celeia hops late in the copper. The scents are reminiscent of fields of grass freshened by a short shower on a sunny summer’s day. The taste is sharply hoppy and beautifully stimulates the underside edges of your tongue. There’s the merest hint of malt to complement the hops. The aftertaste develops the hops further with an increasing dryness and straw bitterness to finish.

Cask at the Earth & Stars, Brighton, 16th Dec 2010. Bright gold, small lacy head. Dry, dusty hop nose. Light, refreshing palate. Really drinkable. Good start for Ian Burgess at WJ King. Lovely golden ale. Wrong day for it though, was wet and gloomy in Brighton.

Gravity cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and metal in a boring way. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, and moldy malt, as well as some herbs, leading to a bitter finish.

clear yellow, small white smooth but bubbly head. Faint mild aroma, sort of like butter but not quite. Flowery sweet note, but not much. Flavor is quite grassy, hoppy, mild flowery, balanced and quenching

Gravity cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild toasted malty, vague grassy hops. Mild earthy, mild hoppy and herbal. Bitter, dry and hoppy. Bone dry and bitter. Mild smoked touch (?). Bitter and dry malty finish.

Cask. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Strange sulphurous farty aroma. Medium body, very low carbonation, dry maltiness and…smoke?? WTF! Not peaty, more German style smoke. Rather hoppy finish. I doubt the smoke is intentional? 140611

Cask conditioned handpump Sidewinder Brighton. A blonde beer with a big thick white head and lacing. Aroma has creamy notes with a bit of butter. Lemony hops in the mouth with biscuity malts. A bit chewy for its strength but OK.
