COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Status uncertain.
Kings Gold is brewed using a blend of First Gold and Brewers Gold hops for a glorious golden-hued, mid-strength bitter. The brew has also been created using a speciality malt to give a palate that is beautifully balanced with a distinctive hop aroma. A ray of sunshine in a glass!

Cask, Slug & Lettuce, Leicester. Hazy golden brown with a firm foam. Aromas are biscuit and caramel with lemon and apple. Yeasty and spicy with grain and vegetable notes. Flavours are dry grain with green apple and sweet biscuit. Yeasty with bittersweet lemon and a dry finish. Pretty good.

Cask at the Half Moon, Windlesham, 27/07/13. Clear dark golden amber with a thin white head that clears to the edgeing. The nose, whilst not unpleasant in any way, is a little on the thin side. Summer fruits, toasty malts, light berry fruits. Taste comprises light hops, orange, sugar, summer fruits, light toasted malts. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dryish finish with light bitterness. Ok drinkable affair, not unpleasant in any way and quite refreshing on the warm summer evening that it was, however it veers into the yawn side of GB’s, the blandometer was inching into amber!

Cask at wetherspoons. Pours a gold colour with a thin head. Aroma is a sour apple smell with some maltiness in there. Hmmm, doesn't taste great, fairly sour - this could be past it's prime! Its far from good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 9/08/2012. Deep gold with a slick of a white head. Sweet, caramel and citrus fruit aroma. Flavour was also sweet, with some cereal notes, apricots and moderately bitter finish. Ok.
