3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma of yeasty hops.
Tastes of fruity hops with caramel malt. Tangy hops notes.
Palate is medium bodied.
Overall, pretty good, a hoppy beer for the brown ale style.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle stamped: 3295051712. It looks like a brown should with its deep amber pour and lingering but smallish head. The aroma is rather weak with a little malt and a little hop but nothing outdoes the other. The body is medium and creamy. The taste tends to favor a clean, crisp hoppy character but it is also a tad astringent.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty good. A touch too hoppy - I’d prefer it to be smoother. Aroma was average and didn’t grab me - Appearance was great. Nice lasting head with plenty of lacing. In taste I noted the vanilla, but I also caught the over abundant hops which detracted from the overall and the palate.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear medium amber with a ring head and spotty lacing. A Traditional ale with more caramel malt at the beginning, more hop balance at the finish. Works well enough to have again, but certainly not a memorable brew.

Bottle at Shop-N-Save event, 4/21/12. Bronze color with a frothy head, sweet caramel scent, crisp textured light bodied palate with a flat feeling finish. Notes of nuts with a caramel finish.

Aroma is a bland malt. Taste is a slightly nutty malt, but not much to it. Overall not enough.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark amber body with a small fizzy and thin off-white head that left a touch of lacing. The nose is slightly nutty and sweet with a touch of fruitiness. The flavor is a bit on the thinner side, but not offensive in any way. Lightly nutty with some earthiness, very little to no hoppiness. Light bodied and thin with fizzy carbonation. Not bad, but it needs a little more body and depth.

Pours dark brown with white head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate and some roast. Taste is sweet with faint bitterness on the finish. Surprisingly crisp finish for the style.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
1/15/12. 12oz bottle. Slightly hazy brown pour with a small khaki head that’s gone fast. Slightly sour nutty aroma with caramel and oxidation. Sweet, nutty flavor with a bit of roast and a touch of sour milk. Meh.

On draft at the brewery. A little thin for a brown but smooth nonetheless. Hints of nuts and grain.
