UPDATED: AUG 22, 2011 Bottle on the lake in nh. Aroma is unbelievably sweet smelling caramel, brown sugar. Almost afraid to taste. Brown sugar, caramel, toffee. Thin. Way too sweet for me. Weak finish.

Bottle. Poured a hazy medium brown with an average sized light tan frothy head that was mostly diminishing and had poor lacing. The aroma was of toasted caramel malts, resin hops and a mild earthy yeast with a mild hint of coffee. It tasted kind of mild with a sweet coffee flavor at first the became a little bitter and slightly hoppy at the end. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and watery in texture with a very soft carbonation. Overall a somewhat tasty brew but lacking for the style. Not sure if being an organic brew had anything to do with the lack of flavor but I am sure it did not help.

Une pinte au Three Needs à Burlington. Bière de belle couleur brune avec une mousse blanche. Le nez est léger de caramel et de malt. La bouche est mince, liquide avec une touche de houblon et de malt. Rien de mémorable.

Bottled 2.21.11. Pours dark reddish orange, a little hazy, with a frothy tan 1.5-finger head. Aromas of sweet malt, caramel, apple, and grass. The flavor is roasty cocoa, mild chocolate, some earthiness, and apple. A little thin. Decent. [663]

Standard brown ale pour with an off white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Flavor is similar, mostly sweet malt with a hint of roasted nuts. Medium body, a very drinkable beer.
