3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and hops, while the flavor is primarily sweet malty with notes of caramel, and only light notes of hops, and the body is thin. OK, but not the best for the style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy deep blond color; small head. Phenolic hops aroma. Good toffee flavor, correct body strength, with the necessary residual sugars, and good bitterness level; the hopping is quite resiny and not much fruity; still an impression of phenol.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Orangey-amber colour. Aroma is woody, slightly lemony. Toasted malts and citric hops are present, but the overall effect is underwhelming.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light copper, some head. Grapefruit aroma, hint of apricot. Grapefruit hoppy flavor with some pine. Some maltiness serves as a less-than-adequate balance. Very bitter aftertaste lingers.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is more malt than hop; hop seems grapefruity. Orange gold color with a white head that’s not impressive. A bit thin in body; the carbonation is moderate. The flavor seems very grapefruit, backed by some decent caramel malt. Refreshing. The finish is not all that dry, but the hop helps with balance. Surprisingly good. Something like an overhopped British pale ale. That’s not bad in this instance.
