COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with over 200 pounds of organic rolled oats in each batch, this smooth-as-silk stout is brimming with darkly roasted malts and rich notes of chocolate and coffee. A mocha-topped, black-as-night body gives way to a surprisingly smooth, full-bodied experience in this unfiltered offering.

Pours a deep blackish brown with a brownish head. Aromas of chocolate. The taste is sweet but nicely balanced for the style. Extremely smooth texture. One of the best at the Millvale beer Fest.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. 010213 stamp on the neck so it has a little bit of age on it. Pours a deep black body with two fingers of light khaki foam which fades away quickly leaving behind a thin and frail cap. Decent lacing with poor retention. Aroma is strong on the milk chocolate with lighter notes of coffee, roast and some grainy oats. Taste is similar with a predominately milk chocolate flavor with light roasty malts and a slight metallic aftertaste. Mouth feel is on the thinner side of things leading the beer to be somewhat lacking. Really needs more body to support the chocolate. Overall, a bit of a thin example of the style but still rather tasty and enjoyable. Not bad at all.

Prett nice. Has a nice creamy body, maybe a little bit of chocolate. Has a smooth aftertaste of a bit of coffee. And it’s organic!

12oz Bottle. The pour was a murky dark brown with some ruby highlights and an average (1-2 finger) beige creamy head that diminished almost completely, down to a light wispy film and small collar with poor spotty lacing. The aroma was of a roasted cereal malt and a light leathery yeast with notes of milk chocolate, coffee, lactose sugar and a mild smoky nuttiness. The taste was mildly malty sweet with a hint of chocolate and a light milky lactose feel in the beginning, and then became rather roasty with a decent coffee presence and a smoky oat finish. The flavor lasted only a short while proceeding the swallow, with a light smoky roastiness fading quickly off the taste buds. Mouthfeel was a step below medium in body with a thin watery texture and a nice soft carbonation. Overall this was a brew that was very light tasting for a Stout both in body and flavor. That being said it I still found it to be rather tasty and quite easy to drink... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

Pours black with a wispy tan head. Aroma is roast, coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is sweet with a nice roast bitterness that tempers back to sweetness on the finish. Solid sweet stout. Mouth feel is almost creamy.

Great smell of oats. Dark pour with with a nice brown head. Smooth taste with a slight aftertaste. One of the few stouts that I prefer cold instead of around 50º. Overall a good oatmeal stout for the price.

Toffee and coffee notes on the nose...Smells amazing. Quarter inch of caramel foam, solid black pour, bitter cereal flavor on the middle of the tongue.
