3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Whole Foods, Bowery bottle ($2): Pours dark golden with a white head. Aroma is flowers, honey, and wheat. Taste is much the same. Lightly sweet. Nice floral taste. More taste there than I would have thought. There is even a nice aftertaste.

Hazy, dark yellow with a short, off-white head.

Taste is sweet, honey, wheat, sharp citrus...orange-lemon, flowers.
Nice, but just a little too sweet, overall.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Nose lightly grainy, wheaten, low cream and lemon, faintly floral. Medium sweetness in the mouth, no bitterness, floral honey up top, some lemon and fresh cream, candy, light but rounding spice. Medium body, crisp but not aggressive, has a nice refreshing aspect.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle. Aroma of dry wheat and citrus. Cloudy gold, white head - looks like a wheat beer should. Wheat and honey go nicely together, honey flavor lingers in aftertaste. Slight spice notes - could be the chamomile Not too much carbonation, which often happens with wheats. Quite good.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a moderate white head. Nose is light and filled with wheat, but not a lot else. Taste is a bit thick and very slightly sweet with just a hint of floral. Not great, but drinkable.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2013 Significant downrating (3.6 to 2.5) on my second time having this. Just too sweet with no hardiness to back it up. It’s closer to an apple juice than a substantive wheat beer. The honey scent is very pleasant, but it doesn’t work out so well on the palate.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 1/2/13
Aroma: The nose is big on honey and floral notes, with wheat and orange peel hiding behind the honey
Appearance: It pours a hazed golden-orange color with a white head and some spotty, light lace
Flavor: The taste is quite sweet, heavy honey, like the nose, with wheat and floral flavors
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a sticky, cloying feel, and a somewhat fizzy carbonation
This is kind of an odd one. Why would you put so much honey into a wheat beer? I do enjoy honey on occasion, but it doesn’t fit here in this quantity. It comes off too sweet and cloying.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fairly bland, steely aroma of yeasty bread. The flavor tho is very nice and complex - malted wheat, a dash of citrus, and plenty of organic Vermont honey. Clearly one of the better wheat brews, and one of my favorites from Wolaver’s.
