IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA May 30, 2005 Bottle Pours a light hazy golden witha medium sized quicly dissipating white head. Aroma is a mild faint light grain and slight hoppiness. Flavors are lightly toasted grain, hay, wheat toast and a little hops kick. Seems fairly well balanced and drinkable. Feel is a bit thin but goes down nice. Slight lingering cardboars and citrusy hops aftertaste. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA May 29, 2005 A great beer, had a floral hoppy head, but a mild, very mild, flavor with a little hint of alcohol flavor. Overall, a decent american pale, nothing spectacular. Retorp (2154), Tampa, Florida, USA May 19, 2005 Malty with an almost pear like note. Drinkable, but my socks remained on my feet. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 26, 2005 Hazy dark straw pour with aroma of hopcit, malt, some fruit. Tastes hoppy, with fruit, malt, and some spice elements. Smooth palate. ChazyRPh (571), Chazy, New York, USA Apr 12, 2005 bottle...clear amber pour with a medium white head that dissipates fast. Cascade hops on the nose with a dose of malts. Rich, light malt character to start...not too sweet. Decent mouthfeel, maybe a tad watery. Well balanced, nice hop presence in the end. A nice beer, oh and certified organic. hmpf steview (901), Los Angeles, California, USA Mar 29, 2005 slighty doughy, musty aroma that’s actually not offensive; organic, i guess. slightly active, slightly hazy, golden straw body with a great thick and frothy white head that likes to linger. ahh, refreshing. cremey, smooth, but a little thick; grassy and almost farmy, but not like a farmhouse ale. i can taste a little of those hops, which are of the piney and grapefruity variety, while the malt provides an obvious yet nice sweetness. this could be more interesting, definitely, but it’s still a good brew. more hops, less chewy malt yeast thing whatever... i like it, though. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Mar 4, 2005 Pour is a cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is hops. Flavor is a a very malty pale ale. So malty i can’t really get any hops. My advice, cut down on a bit of malt and increase the hops. This one needs some work. fuyajo (225), Portland, Oregon, USA Feb 8, 2005 Pours to a golden color with a medium head. Very nice, sweet and citrusy smell. Very hoppy, citrusy taste, with a hoppy aftertaste that diminishes quickly. A good pale ale that I’d buy again.
