Hoppy and hardy are two words I would use to describe this beer. A good Pale Ale that I have enjoyed many times.

04-Feb-05 (12 oz bottle: Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA)> While the malt base has some presence in this organic pale ale, it’s overrun by a honeylike sweetness and a strong floral flavor, and the combination of these two aspects is not doing it for me. There’s a slight grapefruit bitterness in the finish, but it’s too little, too late. The nose is fruity, sweet and floral, with a slight grain aroma that isn’t noticeable in the flavor. Light to medium body. Medium golden color, with a very slight haziness. Small off-white head fades to a wide rim around the edge of the glass, and leaves some streaks of lace behind. In the end, this simply isn’t an especially pleasant tasting beer.

A fairly decent APA from the organic crowd, this golden ale has some arousing grapefruit and piney aromas. A mild malt backbone supports the balanced hopping of this brew which leaves you with a warm, bitter finish.

Pours an amber color with a small head. Nice hoppy aromas similar to the aromas found in an IPA but more subdued. Not bad.

not bad, a good hoppy flavor a mix of bitter and floral. Some sweet malt notes. Poured a nice golden color with a white head, real crisp looking.

Too carbonated for my taste. Sweet, herb-like hopy aroma. Medium-body, sweet malt flavor. Somewhat bitter finish.

Orangeish-brown color, decent head. Malt profile is a bit sharp, citrus and some hops in the finish. A decent, drinkable APA.
