COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This perfectly balanced pale ale has a rich, malty taste and crisp, dry hoppy finish; marrying a blend of Cascade, Cluster and Hallertauer hops with Harrington specialty malt. For those who simply love great beer, Wolaver's rich taste, body and character make it a delicious choice. Certified organic.

Basic pale ale. Does not have the hoppy taste the lable may indicate. Better than the other organic beer I tried.

Very typical american pale ale. Good. Absolutely nothing weird about it. Exactly what one would expect: nice hops, nice malt, fairly balanced, bitter but not too bitter. A good beer. Organic is an extra plus.

VTHopHead (1340) - Barre, Vermont, USA - SEP 16, 2005
Bottle - Poured a clear, dark amber in color with the very thin whitish ead and minor lacing. Aroma was distinctly of malt and floral hops. Flavor was heavy with both floral and fruity hops and plenty of hop bitterness... Yum! Not really balanced, but who cares... I love the hoppines! This one I will try again... very good.

Pours amber with a one and a half finger head. Citrusy hop aroma. Decent flavor until the end, which, as has been said, is weird and metallic and not good at all.

BitchesBrew (713) - Oakland, California, USA - AUG 28, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2005 [bottle, part of an organic mix pack] Pours an amber color with a large head. Lemony aroma and equally citrusy head. Not very easy to drink due to its strong metallic aftertaste (perhaps due to the organics?)

Bottle - another one thanks to slob! Pours clear medium amber with a large off-white head that leaves nice lacing as it diminishes. Aroma is sweet ’dusty’ malts, hint of lemon, earthy floral hops. Flavor is sweet initially, a bit of honey then lots of floral and citrus hoppiness and an astringent earthy finish. Light to medium body and easy carbonation. Not bad, but has a particular dusty-metallic taste that I’ve come to associate with organic brews. Hmmm...

Biscuity aroma, some flowery hops and vegetable aromas; nearly flat carbonation with no head; decent pale, well hopped, but not much going on.
