Pours a cloudy amber color with an off white head. The aroma was a hoppy and earthy sent. The flavor was like a weak I.P.A. hoppy, bitter but a little watered down.Went down fine but not much aftertaste.Overall I could drink this again but I’ve had better american pale ales.

A- Transparent pale amber body with thick foamy white head. Great head retention and leaves behind plenty of lacing in the glass. S- Biscuty malt and earthy hops. T- Citrus hops upfront with biscuty malt backbone. Finish is a balance between earthy hops and biscuty malt. Strong bitter aftertaste lingers. P- Medium to high carbonation with smooth creamy body. This would make a great cask ale. O- Good interpretation of an APA but just not an APA for me. I probably won’t have this again but it was nice to get to try it. Definately worth a try. 12oz bottle 3/27/09 (Binny’s Plainfield)-46° in Lager glass. Pours a dark golden/light amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, hops, and slight pine. Taste of the same with more hops and pine. This medium bodied brew is pretty well balanced and quite drinkable.
