Swell nose of hops and a clean malt aroma. Medium body. Full, round mouthfeel. Malt flavors hit first with the hops backin,em right up! Nice balance. A fine pale ale. Finish is somewhat dry with a malt toastiness to it. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 6, 2003 Has a cloudy brown appearance, hoppy aroma, little to no head, and a nice mildly hoppy taste. I'd drink it again, but it's not quite one of my favorites. Jedsbrew (465), Rhineland, Missouri, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 26, 2003 Medium amber color, the head was small with delicate lacing. Fresh lively aroma of grapefruit, banana and maybe some butterscotch. Medium sweet and caramel malty up front, with a healthy dose of spicy hop bitterness joining the festivities. It got drier in the finish, with a slight stickiness that didn't bother me at all. Really nice ale! BBB63 (4228), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 14, 2003 Nice beer with a nose of roasted malt, american hops, and sweet fruit. Taste was rather straight forward, Hint of sweetness follow by bitter hoppiness and dry finish. Thin-bodied brew had a lively mouthfeel. Somewhat earthy, an good brew. mribm (419), Hurley, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 9, 2003 Buttery with caramel notes in the nose. I couldn't detect a strong hop presence in the aroma, although the hops were present in the taste. I like the fact that it is organic, because they could use all kinds of weird/deadly pesticides on the hops and malt that could make my private parts shrivel up! I liked this pale ale and will try it again. andy609 (143), Auburndale, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 6, 2003 Nice aroma with hoppy notes. From the smell you can tell it's an APA, not an EPA. Dark gold in color with a tiny head of small bubbles. Good tasting with a floral, hoppy finish. Got to love those cascade hops. DrinkingbuddyD (129), Warsaw, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 7, 2003 A solid american pale. I really can't complain about this one. Delivers a moderate cascade hopping that is nicely balanced with the malts. It is certified organic also, if you are into that sort of thing. I really could care less. VTDeerHunter (51), Vermont, USA
