COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This perfectly balanced pale ale has a rich, malty taste and crisp, dry hoppy finish; marrying a blend of Cascade, Cluster and Hallertauer hops with Harrington specialty malt. For those who simply love great beer, Wolaver's rich taste, body and character make it a delicious choice. Certified organic.

Clear and glassy light orange. Wispy icing of lace. Aroma of a very pale crystal malt with the vague hint of chlorine. Some bitter hops (like a pils) but mostly the malt. Gives a perfumy aroma. Hops are bitter and perfumy in the taste, like noble or Hallertau hops. The malt is a bit like chlorine. A bit dry on the tongue. Leaves a thin, pale film. It’s underwhelming. Not bad but definitely not that good. A below average pale ale.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Citrus and light caramel aroma with light earthiness. Citrus and light caramel flavor with light earth and light pine. Medium bodied. Grapefruit/lemon lingers with light caramel and light earth.

A somewhat malty aroma, this beer is certainly tasty. Some light hops and a healthy dose of caramel malt in the flavor. Easy drinking.

Overall Impression: This is a pretty solid Pale Ale, a beer I’ve enjoyed a few different times in the past, but not for a while. Old rating seems to demonstrate a like but not love for this one, could use an update though.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear amber color with lots carbonation, a large head with better than average head retention and lacing. Aroma is floral hops with a citrus bite. Taste bitter citrus hops with a resinous finish. Very slight caramel and pear as well. Medium bodied,

12 oz. bottle. Golden brown pour with off white head. Pleasant aroma of floral hops. Flavor of hops, malt, spices, citrus- more to it than other organics I’ve tasted. Medium body, somewhat carbonated. Dry finish.
