Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Jan 21, 2009 Bottle. Golden in color, very clear, with a rather decent white head. Nice floral aroma. Flavor was very hoppy, especially on the back end. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Jan 17, 2009 pours with a good head and dope lacing .. wait until you see him hit! ... pours a golden tan colour, has a very slight haze ... has a strange flavour, a kinda bracing bitterness at first then a few seconds later a mild sweetness, at tad stale and cardboard-ish but drinkable.. ok stuff, some simple flavours .. organic? damned hippies .. ’our lives are in danger you beatnik’ watson1977 (250), , Pennsylvania, USA Dec 30, 2008 very little aroma....pale amber(looks like the ipa) and a thick foamy head with good retention. crisp and hoppy but the finish is a little metallic for my taste. Ron (1000), Rochester, New York, USA Dec 13, 2008 Aroma of roasted malts and sweet caramel. Average amount of hoppiness in the flavor with toasted malt. Some good carbonation but with fairly thin body. A decent pale ale. rds (224), USA Nov 29, 2008 Thin antique white head atop a clear mid-amber body, straightforward hops, very crisp, little low on malt, but a very clean finish. Dacrza (245), Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA Nov 27, 2008 An attractive, clear, autumnal orange body with a healthy off-white head that settles to a thin ring... steady effervescence makes this look refreshing... mellow hops with ample spruce tinge to tingle the senses... malts are subdued, not roasted or toasted (nice)... a rather full-bodied mouth experience, with bubbles rushing in, hops impressing the tongue, and malts raining on the back of the throat... pleasant, slightly subdued presence and hop rush--refreshingly drinkable with estimably mutliple bottles--the balance is apparent, especially at the throat... another solid beer from their organic 12-pack... doesn’t overpower but maintains a solid level of taste throughout--a bit malty for a pale ale, bordering on an ESB--but okay, some character to talk about!
jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Nov 20, 2008 12 oz bottle. Enjoyed this at the end of a power century. Pours hazy orange body and has a strong hop aroma. The taste is hop as well, very bitter.
