| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2008 An attractive, clear, autumnal orange body with a healthy off-white head that settles to a thin ring... steady effervescence makes this look refreshing... mellow hops with ample spruce tinge to tingle the senses... malts are subdued, not roasted or toasted (nice)... a rather full-bodied mouth experience, with bubbles rushing in, hops impressing the tongue, and malts raining on the back of the throat... pleasant, slightly subdued presence and hop rush--refreshingly drinkable with estimably mutliple bottles--the balance is apparent, especially at the throat... another solid beer from their organic 12-pack... doesn’t overpower but maintains a solid level of taste throughout--a bit malty for a pale ale, bordering on an ESB--but okay, some character to talk about!
