zappafan99 (462), South Carolina, USA May 21, 2008 Amber with off white head. Nice and even pale ale. Malty with a nice body. Aroma is clean. AdamSkillin (376), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA May 3, 2008 British ales (and their americanized counterparts) are supposed to be drinkable in the more than one sense. fits the bill perfectly, in addition to being certified organic. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 13, 2008 Copper colored ale with a smallish white head. Some lace. Nothing special. Aroma is slightly citrus and hoppy but overall rather mild. The taste is a mix of citrus and hops with a sour finish although toned down compared to the IPA. Way too similar if you ask me though. Organic beer and I prefer some chemicals in there :-) kimcgolf (824), Dacula, Georgia, USA Mar 30, 2008 This Pale Ale poured a copper amber color with thin white head that lingered thru mid-glass and left okay lacing. However, the nose, mouth and flavor leaned a little more to the IPA side, which I definitely enjoyed. The nose was some malty caramel, but seemed to have a good deal of citrusy hops, mostly orange and grapefruit. Mouthfeel was bittersweet, and the taste was a nice blend of the citrus and malt caramel.
An easy drinking beer with a good blend of hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness, rounded of by a smooth finish. PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Mar 28, 2008 Brandon, FL. - Kingdom Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, nice thick white head. Brief, sprucey aroma with hints of caramel - could be a tad more pronounced. Flavor has hints of mint, some caramel sweetness, subtle citrus notes and an excellent underlying bitterness that screams out session material. Thickish mouthfeel, nice texture. dchmela (1406), Orlando, Florida, USA Mar 26, 2008 Pours a golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel malt with a slight fruity hoppiness. Taste is smooth caramel malt and balance with slightly bitter hops. Finishes nice. A nice easy drinking pale. Collint (452), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Mar 18, 2008 12 oz bottle. Organic beer. Pours a golden orange with no head. Hops are present, this beer is very drinkable, not waterd down. Pretty good rocbyter (902), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Mar 14, 2008 Malty aroma with more hops than most pales. Clear orange color with some white foam. Mild apple beginning with a slight bitter finish.
