Flavor was very hoppy, especially on the back end. Pretty good, although I am admittedly not much of an APA fan. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2003 A darker pale ale. Thick malts well balanced with the bright, lightly citrus hops. lingering finish. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 12, 2003 Deep dark reddish brown with a nice thick head, a beautiful beer. Nose is mostly hops, slightly citric and a bit grassy. A very clean taste, but a bit watery in the middle, big hops at the end. Dreadlocked, stinky hippies rejoice the organic effort. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 28, 2008 Brandon, FL. - Kingdom Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, nice thick white head. Brief, sprucey aroma with hints of caramel - could be a tad more pronounced. Flavor has hints of mint, some caramel sweetness, subtle citrus notes and an excellent underlying bitterness that screams out session material. Thickish mouthfeel, nice texture.
