Bottle. Good Cascade hops APA with a strong malty presence. Classic golden color, citrus hops/grapefruit aroma, and crisp finish. This is a very tasty and sessionable, if not remarkable, APA.

Sep 3, 2008 Reminds me more of an English Pale Ale. Hazy amber color. Some head and lace. Some malt and grapefruit aroma. Lots of malt, listed hops, and citrus in the flavors. Also big in the sweetness dept. Not one of my favs. Kind of a long finish.

Aug 27, 2008 Slightly hazy amber, moderate off-white head. Nice aromatic fruity hop aroma. Nicely balanced sweet caramel malts and floral/fruity hop character with a medium-bitter finish. Easy-drinking, enjoyable.

Aug 15, 2008 (Bottle). Aroma is bready with a hint of citrus. Pretty reddish amber color with no head. Flavor is mild hops and citrus, braced by a balancing bitterness that by no means overpowers. Decent finish.

Jul 28, 2008 Bottle from Sondra. Color is sort of copper amber - but it changes with light and aspect. The white head didn’t last long. Bready aroma backed by a hint of bitter. Flavor is more than a hint of bitter. It’s roasted malt with citrus and grassy hop. Very tasty. Balanced, maybe even "perfectly" so. Finish is neither sweet nor dry, and there is a citrus nuance. Nice APA. No pretensions to grandeur, but it tastes good.

Jul 20, 2008 Bottle, bottled 4/28/08. Aroma of some odd heavy/earthy fruits, a bit peppery. Flavor is pretty sweet with only a weak, bland bitterness. Malt-based without much character in the malt even. Bland.
