The body had a deep amber color with some visible carbonation. The head on top was off white in color, tall and slowly faded down to thin ring of lace. On the way down the glass it left behind some nice lace rings. The nose had notes of sweet malt, rich pumpkin meat and pumpkin pie spice with ginger being the stand out. Its spice character is up front and center with ginger and then cinnamon standing out. Next up is a sweet malty middle with noticeable roasted pumpkin flesh notes. Hop flavor also mixes in and adds to the spicy character. The finish has a nice balance of all its components and slowly fades off the tongue. It has a rich smooth texture with nice carbonation and a solid medium to full body.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a cloudy orange colored body with a small one finger white head that quickly dissipated into the body. No carbonation is seen rising. No lacing is left. The smell had the allspice and ginger up front with the pumpkin coming in behind it. The taste balanced sweet malty pumpkin with the allspice and ginger coming in together. The aftertaste is bitter. The palate was about a medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. Overall, this was not a bad pumpkin being that its organic. If I was a tree-hugger, this is a pumpkin beer that I would do more often.

beerscout (298) - New Windsor, New York, USA - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle. Deep golden amber color. Foamy off-white head. Nose was malty and bready, nutmeg. Flavor was heavy bready malts, not very bitter, not much spice. Barely any pumpkin, so its not really more than a lager in character. Thick palate. It was ok.

kramer (4866) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 23, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear bright orange body with a one finger frothy beige head that left some light lacing. The nose is pretty typical Pumpkin Ale, heavy spicing with lots of caramel sweetness, minimal actual pumpkin. The flavor isnít all that crazy with the spicing though. In fact, there isnít really a whole lot of flavor at all. Itís rather bland with just some caramel sweetness and light cinnamon on the finish. One of the weaker efforts at a Pumpkin. Lighter bodied but still a bit clingy with fizzy carbonation. Pretty boring stuff.

keanex (1403) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - OCT 21, 2013
On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Amber body with a light haze, dense tan head.
Aroma: Cinnamon and nutmeg are present with hints of clove and vanilla, slight pumpkin pie vibe.
Taste: Very mild, hints of pumpkin, clove, and nutmeg on the finish, but bland until the finish.
Palate: Light bodied, moderately carbonated.
Overall: A boring beer thatís offers very little in the sea of pumpkin beer. Pass on this unless organic is important to you.

You're typical pumpkin ale, not saying it's boring. It has a good fall taste, prevalent spices with a hint of pumpkin. Being organic adds nothing to the flavor just adds the satisfaction of knowing its the real stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy amber with thin lacy offwhite head; aroma is light with cinnamon notes; Flava is richly cinnamon and nutmeg; feels light and fizzy; fjnishes dry slight grain grassy notes and some sweet sugary notes late.
