12 oz, bottled 08/21/08. Hazy copper with a lasting disc of cream and nice frosty lace. Aroma is mostly the typical spice mixture, but atypical in that there seems to actually be some pumpkin in there too - a lightly sourish vegetable aroma. Alas, the flavor indicates otherwise, as the spice flavors dominate from the get-go as in so many pumpkin ales out there. This one is mostly ginger; maybe some nutmeg and allspice that help to hog the spotlight. Light-medium body is a little fizzy, and dry and tingly from the spice. If you like ginger, you will like this one.

Bottle. Pour is a deep coppery orange with a finger of bubble tan head. Aromas are very heavy on the pie spices with a touch of sweetness that might be described as pumpkin. Still, the spice in the nose is abit overdone. Flavor is very odd and I’m wondering if I have an infected bottle. There is a sour funk to it that is completely unexpected, but since it’s new, I can’t see it being an aging/storage issue. As it warms a bit, this becomes diminished. The spice is strong and dominates past the tartness... cloves and cinnamon dominate and drive this one home... Still, this is weird stuff.

Pours beautiful body - hazy orange with small white head. Aroma is defined spice, not crazy but good. Taste isnt bad. Organic twist, etc., spice prevails.

2008 bottle. Sent a picture to be uploaded. Solid pumpkin beer. Pours with a fluffy, tight, off-white head that stays the entire time and leaves good lacing. Body is a chill hazed orange hue. Aroma is beautiful with pumpkin and so many amazing spices... cinnamon, brown sugar, clove...pumpkin pie, really good pumpkin pie. Taste is strongly of the spices and not as sweet as I was hoping. Still good for when the weather cools. Dryish mouthfeel and lively bubbles.

(Bottle (stamped "03/07/08") from Bootlegggers) Pours hazy amber with two fingers of biscuit head. Aroma of pumpkin and spice (nutmeg) along with some vanilla sweetness as head recedes. Mouthfeel average. Flavor of pumpkin and spice but has an off sour tanginess that really detracted. Bleh - I’ll pass.

Lightly hazy burnt orange with little head. Mellow fruit and spice aroma with Juicy Fruit gum and cinnamon. Strong flavor and strangely bitter. I am thinking that the harsh bitterness come from a large amount of spice being added to the kettle and boiled. Without the bitterness, I like the overall spice flavor which has some nutmeg and allspice in addition to cinnamon. Good body also.

Great dark amber color and has a really nice pumpkin aroma with nutmeg. Flavor is a little on the bitter side and leaves a fairly bitter aftertaste. Not an all autumn day drinker, though alright for one or two.

Love the color and aroma but baking spice flavors are overpowering. And the finish clashes with the rest of the taste, a very harsh bitter taste.

12 oz. bottle. Hazy orange pour with a small white head. Spice (esp. cinamon and nutmeg) and fruits in the nose. Decent spicy flavor and tart finish. Light body and high carbonation. Pumpkin not too aggressive. Balanced.

Overall a decent pumpkin ale. Not overly agressive with its spiciness or alcohol content. I never get the desire to drink more than one or two at a time of any beers of this style. This one is no different. Organic is always a plus in my book.
