Bottled 071013. Nose full of spice, cinnamon and allspice, and some mild earthier character. Pours an attractive neon orange with a sudsy beige head. Taste is only very lightly sweet, a little grainy and seemingly wheaten, spice is there but thankfully pulled back, and pulled back into a sustainable balance with the malt. No really bitterness or hops, some earthy character, fullish body and enjoyable enough.

Poured from bottle. Pleasant aroma of pumpkin and brown sugar. Good lookin cloudy amber/orange with light tan head that persists. I taste pumpkin with brown sugar, cinnamon, spices and malt. Could use a little more flavor. A bit too watery. But it is a nice beer that is working out well for me on this hot, humid summer day.

Pours cloudy, orange-amber with a short, off-white head. Pumpkin Pie Filling aroma... Nicely subdued pumpkin flavor...lightly spiced. Very well made... Understated...nice.

Early in the season for this.....2013 version labeled as Wolaver’s Pumpkin Ale......pours a copper color with an off white head which hangs around for a bit and laces well. Aroma of nutmeg, orange, allspice, and sweetness. Taste is full of spices with little pumpkin taste, perhaps this was too early to try it as the spices overwhelm any other flavor, with a decent mouthfeel. Bitterness is the last sensation after the hit of spice.

Another bottle from Travlr; thanks again! Aroma of fresh pumpkin and a nice spice balance, definitely some clove and nutmeg in there. Appearance is unfiltered amber brown with bone head. Flavor matches the nose; the clove and nutmeg and still the stars balanced by the pumpkin, but there is a nice, herbal hop finish as well- the spice really lingers overall. Palate is slick with a light mouthfeel. One of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had.

this beer is exactly what I thought it would be... a nice clean refreshing pumpkin taste. the aroma obviously was pumpkin and spices and was smooth with zero bitterness. very good pumpkin!

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a hazy reddish orange with a decent off white head. The nose has a good bit of pumpkin spice and a touch of pumpkin bread. The flavor unfortunately isn’t as good as the nose. There is still lots of pumpkin spice, but the malt side isn’t very complex. There is a little doughy malt but not much else. There is an odd lingering bitterness on the back end. Medium body with a little aggressive carbonation. Serviceable but not spectacular.

Honestly, one of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had. The spices seemed to be just right; not too faint, not too strong. Pleasing brew.

355mL thanks to Travlr. Pours chill haze deep amber. Weaker white head. Scant lace. Nose is malty, a bit stale, squashy, weak pumpkin, apple juice, some spice. Taste is nutmeg/pumpkin pie spice, buttery crust, moving to a lot of lemon tea and soap. Palate is dish water and chalk. My rating: 2.7 Fiance rating: 3.4

The head on this beer was weak with little retention. This was perhaps the only negative. The aroma was excellent. It smelled like a warm pumpkin pie. The beer had a great hop flavor that is often missing in this style. It also had a lingering taste of all spice. This is a beer that I would gladly have a second. In general a good beer for this style it was great.
