3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured a clear copper with a tall foamy tan head. The head dropped to a film rather quickly, but left a light amount of lacing. There was a light spice aroma of cloves, pumpkin and nutmeg. The flavor was also mild with tastes of clove and pumpkin. There was a nice hop bitterness that developed on the finish. A nice beer.

Early in the season for this.....2013 version labeled as Wolaver’s Pumpkin Ale......pours a copper color with an off white head which hangs around for a bit and laces well. Aroma of nutmeg, orange, allspice, and sweetness. Taste is full of spices with little pumpkin taste, perhaps this was too early to try it as the spices overwhelm any other flavor, with a decent mouthfeel. Bitterness is the last sensation after the hit of spice.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly cloudy deep amber pour with off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, pumpkin and spices. The flavor hits the taste buds with a mix of sweetness and spice followed by a malt/pumpkin combo for some balance. A bit too much in the spice department, but a decent drinking pumpkin ale nonetheless.

Tap. Pours a rusty orange with a dense foam head. They didn’t go overboard with the pumpkin flavor or sweetness which makes this a very pleasant, drinkable beer. One of my favorite pumpkin beers so far.

For me this beer was to watery for a pumpkin style, still tasty just not enough behind it.

12oz bottle. Not my favorite wolavers product. Too much spice and not enough body. Not balanced and thin.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a small off white head. Nose is rich pumpkin muffin, nutmeg, cinnamon. Palate full and rich, coats the mouth and light tingles on the tongue. Flavor of pumpkin, sugar granules and cinnamon, bready malts.
