Early in the season for this.....2013 version labeled as Wolaverís Pumpkin Ale......pours a copper color with an off white head which hangs around for a bit and laces well. Aroma of nutmeg, orange, allspice, and sweetness. Taste is full of spices with little pumpkin taste, perhaps this was too early to try it as the spices overwhelm any other flavor, with a decent mouthfeel. Bitterness is the last sensation after the hit of spice.

Great dark amber color and has a really nice pumpkin aroma with nutmeg. Flavor is a little on the bitter side and leaves a fairly bitter aftertaste. Not an all autumn day drinker, though alright for one or two.

Pours a clear copper color with a meager thin head. The aroma is faint, Iím not getting much from it at all. Sorta of an odd potpourri smell. Any pumpkin spice is virtually absent. The flavor leaves a lot to be desired. Itís astringent, overly sweet, nearly sour. Over carbonation doesnít help the flavor, but rather feels intrusive and needs to be turned down a notch. Other flavoring includes pale malts, light toastiness, a hint of cinnamon, pumpkin not too strong. Decent amount of hop bittering at the end. I hate being overly negative about a beer, but there really isnít much to hang your hat onto.

Pours a hazy amber color with a quickly disappearing head. Smells and tastes of a pumpkin pie. I liked this one.

I THINK itís this year pumpkin. Strong pumpkin, cloves, and spices in the aroma. Taste is malty with a very mild bitter finish. Caramel malt and pumpkin flavor. Was expecting a bit stronger flavor, good though.

12 ounce bottle from Glenville beverage. Pours an orange color. Appropriate considering, Anyway, smells immediately of pumpkin spice. Taste is bitter. That disappointed me. I really wanted to like this one. Oh well.

Full bodied orange with nice white clouds of head. Smells of fresh pumpkin, light biscuit malt, white bread. Tastes of nice fresh pumpkin. Slightly bitter notes in the back of the mouth and almost dry. Quality.

Faint aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg and Cinnamon. Flavor upfront is pumpkin and the palate is the spices. Not overpowering like many of the style and finish is refreshing.

Dark amber-orange body. weak on flavors all around, was expecting a bit more spice. dry, tart, bitter, and lacking a balanced sweetness.
