Tallahassee, Fl. - The Beer Stop - a new store - 12 oz bottle. Pours a dark murky orange with a slight, bubble white head. Very fragrant spicy aroma with hints of nutmeg and a bit of funkiness - kind of like aquarium water. Flavor is full of spice and not much pumpkin. The flavors of nutmeg and pumpkin pie spice come to mind. A bit of ripening vegetable funkiness in the back end. Mouthfeel is thickish and a bit sticky. Does in a pinch.

Bottle complements of Fresh Beer Chris. Got the bottom of the bottle so is murkier than most. Medium yellow color. Up-front pumpkin gourd, only moderately spiced with mostly nutmeg noticable. Thin body, lingering bitter finish is a nice touch.

Pours beautiful body - hazy orange with small white head. Aroma is defined spice, not crazy but good. Taste isnt bad. Organic twist, etc., spice prevails.

Bottle. Orange-amber with a short, foamy beige head. Strong spice (mainly clove and cinnamon) up front in the aroma followed by pumpkin pie notes, caramel and hints of brown sugar. Taste is big cinnamon and clove, pumpkin, caramel notes, and soft malt. Body is medium with a moderate, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more cinnamon and cove, light nutmeg, pumpkin, pie crust notes, caramel and sweet malt.

Trade from BMan113VR - Thanks! pours cloudy brownish orange, with a thin ring of foam. Smells like ginger, pumpkin, and nutmeg, maybe some clove, too. Flavor is similiar, with a vegetal pumpkin not up front, and cinnamon, ginger and other spices in the background. As it warms, an odd metallc note emerges.

Amyliz4 picked up a sixer of this at Whole Foods in Alexandria. Served in a Dogfish Head Alehouse Punkin pint glass. Pours a slightly-hazed orange color with a thin light tan head and some slight lacing. The nose carries a bit of pumpkin and spice, mostly cinnamon and clove. The flavor is fairly heavy on the spice with quite a bit of cinnamon. Feel is overwhelmingly full of cinnamon and a bit of clove. Medium body with light sweetness. Not a fan at all.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of pumpkin, spices, allspice, nutmeg, and light cinnamon. Poured orange/amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly spiced. Tastes of pumpkin, nutmeg, and spices. Medium body. Syrupy, lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Nutmeg and slight pumpkin finish is lightly dry.

Bubbly amber-orange color with a taller beige head. Pumpkin pie scents with a bit of acidity in the background. Not sure if it is the ginger or if there is some something lactic in the there, but only tasting will tell. Light caramel start, middle is lactic, which then turns to spicy. Lots of ginger. Less parts of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. I’m starting to attribute some of the lactic taste to the cloves verses the ginger. Still acidic and biting in feel. Not enough malt depth or sweetness for my liking and the acidity really throws thing off.

kramer (4856) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 23, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear bright orange body with a one finger frothy beige head that left some light lacing. The nose is pretty typical Pumpkin Ale, heavy spicing with lots of caramel sweetness, minimal actual pumpkin. The flavor isn’t all that crazy with the spicing though. In fact, there isn’t really a whole lot of flavor at all. It’s rather bland with just some caramel sweetness and light cinnamon on the finish. One of the weaker efforts at a Pumpkin. Lighter bodied but still a bit clingy with fizzy carbonation. Pretty boring stuff.
