POured a light orange color with a big white head. Aroma was of lots of nutmeg and a bit of biscut. Flavor was spices, then really hollow and watery in the middle and then a sweeter pie crust swallow, not horrible, but not everything fits together.

Bottle from jjpm74 Thanks Nice aroma of spice and some underlying sweetness clove etc Pours a orange amber tone The flavor is where it all goes wrong It is vegetal and bitter tart unpleasant with none of the nice spice that was in the nose After the tart vegetal aspect comes a bitter earthy finish The flavor is acrid and bad really The nose was nice and I wish the flavor would have followed through

( 12oz bottle) Pours clear orange with nice oily bubbles. Nose of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and gingerbread. Taste of bitter pumpkin, hairspray, and light sweetness. Nice oily body with lots of spices and good creamy carbonation.

Trade from BMan113VR - Thanks! pours cloudy brownish orange, with a thin ring of foam. Smells like ginger, pumpkin, and nutmeg, maybe some clove, too. Flavor is similiar, with a vegetal pumpkin not up front, and cinnamon, ginger and other spices in the background. As it warms, an odd metallc note emerges.

Bottle. Orange-amber with a short, foamy beige head. Strong spice (mainly clove and cinnamon) up front in the aroma followed by pumpkin pie notes, caramel and hints of brown sugar. Taste is big cinnamon and clove, pumpkin, caramel notes, and soft malt. Body is medium with a moderate, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more cinnamon and cove, light nutmeg, pumpkin, pie crust notes, caramel and sweet malt.

Pours cloudy, orange-amber with a short, off-white head. Pumpkin Pie Filling aroma... Nicely subdued pumpkin flavor...lightly spiced. Very well made... Understated...nice.

Bottle. Pours a clear bright orange body with a one finger frothy beige head that left some light lacing. The nose is pretty typical Pumpkin Ale, heavy spicing with lots of caramel sweetness, minimal actual pumpkin. The flavor isnít all that crazy with the spicing though. In fact, there isnít really a whole lot of flavor at all. Itís rather bland with just some caramel sweetness and light cinnamon on the finish. One of the weaker efforts at a Pumpkin. Lighter bodied but still a bit clingy with fizzy carbonation. Pretty boring stuff.

12oz bottle. Big pumpkin pie aroma. Medium to dark color for a Pumpkin Ale, nice and murky. The taste is full and spicy, but somewhat different a lot of beers it’s style. The spicing is well done and very balanced, earthy nuances and hops coming through. Harshly underrated thus far at 3.15, this one is recommended for those inclined to enjoy the style. Excellent.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Gillyís, 11/6/09 (bottle on date was 9/1)

Aroma: The aroma is pumpkin, spice, and quite a bit of pepper with some vegetation, and some light hops as well
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear orange color with a thin off-white head and quite a bit of lace on the glass
Flavor: The taste is a little nicer then the aroma, it has a light pumpkin flavor, but less vegetable and more sweet then the nose with the bitterness not really coming though until the finish
Palate: This beer has an interesting mouthfeel, thereís a ting from the pepper, and some carbonation
Overall Impression: I wonder if this would have been different fresher. Either way, itís pretty good, and I really did enjoy it quite a bit. My biggest complaint would be that it is a drop too much on the vegetable side, particularly in the nose, but it still works.
