Aroma: The aroma is pumpkin, spice, and quite a bit of pepper with some vegetation, and some light hops as well
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear orange color with a thin off-white head and quite a bit of lace on the glass
Flavor: The taste is a little nicer then the aroma, it has a light pumpkin flavor, but less vegetable and more sweet then the nose with the bitterness not really coming though until the finish
Palate: This beer has an interesting mouthfeel, there’s a ting from the pepper, and some carbonation
Overall Impression:
I wonder if this would have been different fresher. Either way, it’s pretty good, and I really did enjoy it quite a bit. My biggest complaint would be that it is a drop too much on the vegetable side, particularly in the nose, but it still works.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Pours a brownish orange with a white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie spices, a little pumpkin and malt. Flavor is cloves, nutmeg, and other pumpkin spices, pumpkin, cinnamon. Finish is bitter cinnamon and spices. Another pumpkin beer with too many spices and too little pumpkin. But still a good effort. HogTownHarry (4002), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Bottle ( 12oz ). Slightly hazy orange-amber with a large lasting fizzy-frothy off-white head (4-). Aroma of spicy pumpkin, with nutmeg and a little soap. Taste follows, a bit more soap and spice - get a bit overly bitter and harsh in the finish. Watery, very lively body .... not bad. hopscotch (5481), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 15, 2009 Bottle… Clear amber ale with a small, flimsy, white head. Decent retention. Sweet, spicy aroma – nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, ginger and caramel. Full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The medium bitter, moderately sweet, spicy flavor features nutmeg, brown sugar and a heaping helping of hops. Spicy, bitter finish. puzzl (2619), New York, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Bottled. Soapy, "pumpkin" nose if cheap pie spices are what you consider to smell like pumpkin. Kind of smells like cinnamon and nutmeg that has been sitting in the pantry for 10 years. Just old and stale and lifeless. Moderate body, lip-coating but not sweet, with more lifeless character in the malt, and the inevitable pie spice finish. Even for the already bad (mostly) Pumpkin Ale style this one is still worse. BillKismet (1937), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Brilliant orange-amber pumpkin hue with rich off-white creamy top. Toasted punpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice aromas greet the nose. Enjoyable cinnamon accented body atop a supportive malt backbone. Well-balanced, dryish finish parting with a note of chocolate dust. ld50 (1), New York, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 8, 2009 This is the nicest pumpkin beer I’ve had yet. Not too heavy on the spices. Tastes like beer with a mild pumpkin aftertaste. Beautiful color. Pwn3d (1066), Manhattan, New York, USA

Pours a clear dark amber. Nose is potpourri spice, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. Mouth is watery and artificial. Tons of potpourri spice that upset my stomach.
