COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian style white beer is our offering for the warmer months. Naturally cloudy, due to a high percentage of local organic raw wheat, and mildly spiced with orange peel and coriander. Light, fruity, and refreshing. Our newest ale will be available in May.

Pours yellow and cloudy with a white head. Smells vaguely of orange peel and malt, but mainly of CORIANDER. Even in flavor, this beer is in your face with coriander. Too much for me. Not my favorite style, and not one of the better representations of it I’ve had.

On target for this Belgium style white beer, light and fruity. Cloudy appearance, don’t need to add an orange peel, the orange flavor is in the beer.

Bottled@Monks Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head, that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is ruity, lemony, mild wheaty as well as some mild papery notes. Flavour is lemon, some mild wheat, sweet maltyness as well as some mild yeastyness.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Citrus, ginger root, dry spices, light coriander notes, pear and some wheat tones. Dry fruit and a thin light body to finish. Decent.

Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. The beer pours a hazy straw-colored yellow with a medium white head that is reasonably long-lasting. The aroma brings notes of lemon and a touch of orange zest. The palate is full of yeast-derived esters up front, but also shows a pretty significant amount of malty sweetness and character in the mid to finish. I get notes of caramel, somewhat surprising and perhaps slightly out of style. Overall, nicely done.

From the bottle poured a clear golden color with a fair amount of head. Light flavor very crisp, not what I was expecting for a wit.

Pours a semi-cloudy yellow with a bit of an amber tinge to it, small thin white head and low carbonation. Aroma is very faint but what you can get is orange juice. Flavor is a bit watered down due to the lack of carbonation. The beer definitely has a strong orange flavor throughout the tasting and ends with a nice coriander and wheat taste. The flavor is definitely a much lighter Blue Moon. Overall, if the carbonation was a bit higher (may be an old bottle) I think this would be a pretty refreshing beer for the summer.

Had this one years ago. Pretty substandard witbier. Pretty wheaty aroma and flavor. Orange peel shows up pretty strongly as does the spice.
