Bottle from Millets Farm Store. I thought I bought a bottle from the brewery Against the Grain but I didn’t check the bottle very closely. Considering it’s a gluten free beer it is refreshing and easy to drink. Would work well on a hot summer day. But it also lacks something that would make it more interesting. Some brittish aroma hops would have been nice. The maltbase and hops makes me think of a pale lager but with another yeast.

Bottle. Blonde. Grainy aroma with hay and hints of apple. Low on carbon. Grainy flavor, grassy. Apple and plastic. Soft sour and bitter notes. Hint of licorice. Weird.

50cl bottle. Pale golden, thick white head. Fruity, sweet aroma, citrus notes. Flavor has hops, citrusy notes, mild bready and some floral notes. Quite sweet. Meh.

A light yellow beer with a weak and white head. The nose of fresh lemon, biscuity and grainy maltyness, quite dry. Taste of biscuits and some honey, herbs, hint of lemon, dry bitterness with some unpleasant acrid notes. Quite light, nice carbonation. Nice aroma but some acrid notes in the taste are spoiling the enjoyment.

Pale yellow colour. Aroma is fruity with lemon and apple. Flavor of lemon, apple, bitter grass and sweet grain. Medium body with soft palate. Refreshing, easy to drink and very tasty for a gluten free beer.

Bottle 500 ml at home, poured into a small snifter. ABV 4.5% I didn’t know when I got it that it was a gluten free beer, curious now. Colour is a bright golden yellow one, very clear, with a small and thin white head. Low retention, light lacing left on the glass. Aroma is surprisingly nice, quite malty on the background but there are nice citrus and floral notes that cover the heavy maltiness. One of the best smelling gluten free beers I had till now. Taste is weird though, there is that light citrus and some fruity notes reminding of melon every now and then but the combination with the typical gluten free flavour doesn’t work that good. A bit of grass as well. Medium thin body, low carbonation. Dry palate. Overall I guess is okay, more aromatic than most of gluten free beers, maybe more taste as well. Not something I’d buy again.

500 ml bottle. G1719. BBE 03/15. (Prisma) Tampere, Finland. Clear pale golden colour with a tiny white head. The aroma of yeast, malt, mild sourness and citrus notes. The flavour is bitterish hops, mild sourness, mild malt and citrus. Thin. Bitter aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle mail order from the brewery. Poured a clear, light golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of sweet grains, mango and wet grass. Initial flavours are heavily hopped and bitter, flowery, with underlining sweetness. Finish is pleasant pale ale dry hops, toasted bread and crisp citrus.
