2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml bottle from Booths. Pours clear pale gold, little to no head. Aromas are dusty malt, cereal, light lemon citrus. Taste is light sweet, very light bitter. If there had been a vegetal note I’d have called it a lager, as it is, pretty sub-standard low-hopped blonde ale.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
50cl bottle from Longacres, Windlesham. "indistinguishable from normal bitter"? No. It looks like an eastern European lager when poured, a pale straw colour with a billowing white head; and a grainy aroma with some citrus and grassy hop; the taste is more bitter-like though; with a soft sweet malty body with some citrus; and a fresh green hopped bitterness to finish.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Rating #793 - December 1, 2013 - 500ml bottle from Coop. Golden pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma is mild honey, mild lemon, orange, toasted rice. Palate is a bit messy, rice and corn toasted don’t provide enough body or depth to stand up to even noble hop bitterness. A bit average.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle. Yellow gold colour, foam white head leaving some lacing and aroma of grain & lemony citrus hop. Similar flavour with biscuit, hay notes and light spicy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, metallic bitter finish. Quite OK.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle. pours a clear pale yellow with no head. both the aroma and taste are good. i rated taste high as it really does taste the same as a "normal" bitter. i get a smell of barley (impossible?) and hops!. good for what it is.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Lovely, rich, bitter flavour. Lightly carbonated. Strong fruity aroma. Considering this is wheat free, I cannot notice any significant difference from any other ales. Coeliac's rejoice!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to pint glass
Lemon, hay, nuts, motor oil, and a slight funk. Very light yellow with a thin white bubbly head. Taste is a little peppery and piney with a little lemon, but otherwise very close to an English bitter. Slightly light but still a great job.
