Bottle. Bright golden yellow with an average white head. Low aroma of buckwheat and orchard fruits. Clean grainy palate with a lovely fruitiness (fresh pear, light lemon) leading into a moderately bitter finish. Nice malts here, don’t know how they pulled it off, but they managed to avoid the usual gluten-free fiasco of apple juice and rice water. As a gluten free product this was excellent; perhaps more importantly, as a eer on its own terms this was very tasty as well. If I became celiac, I could drink this without feeling deprived.

Keg at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear straw colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, cereal, lemon, some pear drops, slight sulphur and subtle floral hops. Taste of grain, cereal, lemon, pear, slight sulphur and subtle floral hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A sweetish, sulphuric, malty finish. I agree tha the taste is quite lagery with a slight sulphuric off flavour throughout. Not good.

Bottle at home. Pours pale yellow with medium sized head. Bit on the watery side. Aroma of grassy hops and lager malts. Medium bitterness and light to medium sweetness. There is more aroma to be enjoyed than your average lager, but for me this is kind average to below average.

Strågult og klart med lavt skum. Duft av korn, lett frukt og et lite hint av grønnsaker. Anonym smak hvor kornet è fremtredende. Tynn munnfølelse.

sulawang (1050) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 11, 2016
Visual: (cellared for 3 years). Pours clear apple juice yellow with a quickly dissipating small head, large bubbles clinging to the side of the glass, varied speed singular streams. Nose: yeasty, sweet liquid lager malt (lvl-4)-pungency Attack: thicker viscosity, Mid-palate: citrusy tangy sourness, lacking CO2 mouthfeel, (lvl-6-sweetness), thin body-no depth, bitter hops, hints of corn, hints of puke Finish: lingering bitter hops Summary: This one loses carbonation fast and drinks quite thin compared to beers without a corn adjunct. At least the hops are there but nothing much else. Skip it.

Bottled, 500ml from Clarkes of Whitby, North Yorkshire. Pale gold with no head. Really thin, soured grain beer with quite an eggy nose. Wet, damp malt notes then a thin citrus note. Pretty poor unfortunately.

BBE 03-2016. Peruslagerin väri, olematon vaahto. Lääkkeenmakea tuoksu, laimeahkon maltainen ja lievän katkera suutuntuma, vahvahko kurkussa tuntuva jälkifiilis. Ei toimi.
