The ultimate catch, a refreshing golden pale ale with a fruity bitterness & lingering aftertaste. Certainly a beer to help create those one that got away stories!
Brewed with Wold grown malts and hopped with the fruity Cascade and Goldings hops.

Piany brak.

Piana: niska, szybko opada.
Zapach: tradycyjne angielskie chmiele, nuty ziołowe, korzenne, lekko kwiatowe, trochę akcentów słodowych.
Smak: dość wytrawne, z lekką pełnią słodową, trochę posmaków chmielowych oraz słodowych, goryczka średnia w kierunku niskiej.
Wysycenie: średnie.

Cask conditioned at The Telegraph Inn, Bridlington, E.Yorks. Gold with white head. Simple malty, fruity Golden Ale with a slightly tart edge. Some bitterness, some herby hop notes. It’s okay.

Clear golden colour pour with a thin white lace. Honey malt aroma. Clean citrus malt flavour. Nice bitterness.

Bottle. Weak, citrusy/grassy/floral aroma, watery taste, notes of cardboard. The nicely underlined bitterness saves it somewhat but it still is an uninspiring brew.

500ml bottle from ales by mail. Pours clear and pale golden in colour with a white head. Fruity and floral aromas and a slight grassiness. Refreshing bitter taste with a subtle hint of spice and an unwelcome soapiness. Fruity, bitter aftertaste.

Bottle contributed by, and shared with, EMJ at OSB 08.04.15. Clear golden. Diminishing off-white head. Aroma of soft hops, canned fruit, lime and pale malt. Sweet malt in fruity taste, with moderate and slightly metallic hops.

Bottle from Waitrose. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - grassy and biscuity. Taste - a nice blend of citrus, grass and dry biscuits again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - I would consider this a Bitter. In fact, some of the complexity in it, makes me think of Premium Bitter even if the ABV doesn’t merit it.
