COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - April to October. Also available bottled.
The ultimate catch, a refreshing golden pale ale with a fruity bitterness & lingering aftertaste. Certainly a beer to help create those one that got away stories!
Brewed with Wold grown malts and hopped with the fruity Cascade and Goldings hops.

Cimbasso (292) - - NOV 17, 2014
Sampled from the cask at the John Bairdís Yorkshire Beer Festival. Golden colour with a whitish head. Very mild aromas of marmalade and biscuit malts. Mildly citrus flavours. This sample is very slightly sour - just on the turn - so probably not fair to judge it. It seems a little thin, without the fresh, zesty flavours that I would expect from a Golden Ale.

Bottle. Itís a more or less clear one, golden in color and with a dense, white head of very moderate size. The aroma has some pine cones and citrus, as well as a little sweetish fruitness and pale malts. All weak, and that goes for the flavor too. Pale malts, citrus peel, pine cones and a decent bitterness in the flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation, quite dry. Fruity, citrusy finish. Pretty decent, flawless, but quite boring. 140808
