500 ml bottle, from Matkroken Stokka. BBE 07/14. ABV is 3.7%. Copper colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grain, caramel and dust. Light bodied as expected. The medium dry flavour has first a slight fruitiness which makes the beer quite drinkable, followed by some grainy notes and a hint of toffee. Tolerable hops in the finish. Not too bad.

Not very special. An ordinary bitter without any special characteristics to make it memorable brew.

Cask @Le Bon Bock (Rome). Light golden appearance with a little white foam. Aroma is fruity with grassy notes, malt, biscuits. Flavour is light malty with a little bitter end, so "English". Low body, watery, low carbonation. As delicate as silk.

Clean refreshing summer beer ideal on an afternoons stroll. Not a particularly strong tasting bitter but sips well and has a good head. Try Wild Gold if you like this

StueyD (1554) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2015
A mid amber orange coloured beer with a frothy white head. A light malt led aroma, slightly bready and biscuity, then a faint lemony hop element comes through later. Dry mouthfeel. A dry malt taste to start, bready, biscuity and cereal, then a lemony hop flavour, that, gives the taste a well balanced finish.

Flaske delt med Willy og Ovesen: klar gylden, nesten uten skum. Lite aroma men god smak, fin bitterhet med litt sødme i avslutningen. Bra for 3,7%.
