500 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with very little head. Grassy, slightly cereal aroma with light fruity notes. Nice pleasant bitter flavor for this low ABV, citrus and malt.

Bottle. Light golden copper with fair head. Aroma smells a little off; floral with a sour off edge. Flavour is grain, floral and a hint of sour mash or hop. OK light summer drinker.

Bottle. Bronze beer with a light head. The aroma is mildy bitter and toffee, and the flavour is slightly sour, bitter and plainly toffee.

DuffMan (6462) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 17, 2012
Bottle, shared with Parksy. Medium golden, average white head. Aroma and flavour are quite plain actually, biscuity malt with light grassy/earthy accents. Low bitterness, light mouthfeel. Meh.

[cask at the Phoenix, York] Clear nut-brown bitter with a large, tight white head. Bready malt on the nose, something mildly peppery. Taste is a straight up bitter slightly sweet bready caramel malt, before the snappy dry grass component on the finish. Nothing wrong with this whatsoever a great Yorkshire bitter [10062012]

A quick sniff and taste puts this in the average group. Solid amber beer with a very small whitish head and minor spots. Warm and dry caramel on the sweet side with an interesting hoppy aroma that Im not used to. Its not amazing or weird just a bit different. Mellow citrus nose - pretty plain. This tastes pretty plain as well and leans on the bland side. Dull caramel and a notable spice, grass, maybe the fruit is orangy. Good carbonation and a flat bitter finish. Booooring.

500ml brown bottle. Deep gold in colour, nicely formed tall white head with a rocky top.. Nose has grains, light caramel, light grass and orangey hop. Taste - good UK type malt up front, citrus and grass flavours. Some late hops in the back of the throat. Light in body, soft carbonation. Decent.

500ml bottle pours a pale golden amber color with a 2 finger white head that settles slowly revealing a nice thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy with some citrus and mild caramel malts. Taste is grassy and citrus hop bitterness which is nicely balanced with a little malty sweetness. Unbelievably tasty at this alcohol level. Another well done brew by Wold Top.

Nice appearance. Buttery nose with a tiny bit of pine. Taste is soapy and slightly sour. Not really something Id visit again.
