Bottle from Ales By Mail. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with touches of hops and nuts. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of citrus and flowers and some grassy touches. Bitter, slightly metallic and estery aftertaste. Rather watery but not bad.

Bottle. A clear one, dark golden in color and with a small, white head. The aroma has biscuity malts, some toffee and a little piney, cheesy touch. Some bitterness in the flavor, at appropriate levels actually, with resins, grass and a touch of toffee and biscuits. Medium body, quite dry, with a soft carbonation. Lasting bitter finish with some fruityness and biscuity malts. Quite decent. 140808

Flaske 0,5l fra Eurospar Tomasjord. Brukt som matøl i Skibotn 17 Mai 14. Gyldenbrun. Lavt luftig skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Beskjeden maltaroma. Smaken litt syrlig med spor av ubestemmelig frukt. Litt kjedelig.

Cask in the Dacre Arms, Bransburton. Amber with a white head. Quite a citrusy number. Some malt undertones too. Nice enough and decent for the ABV.

Rune (8343) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 27, 2014
500ml bottle bought at Kjeller 5, Tromsø. Crystal clear, golden-brown coloured body. Frothy, near-white head. Dotted spots on the glass. Aroma of earthy malts and noble hops. Flavour of leafy hops gently mingled with malty sweetness. Smooth resinous bitter ending. Fine bodied compared to the low abv. Soft in the mouth. Decent version of the style (shared with Finn H. at his place, Tromsø 27.03.2014).

Aroma; malts, bread, hops, apple, grass. Amber body. Pearl white pearly head, laceworks inside the mug. Taste; fruity malts, sweet grapefruit, hops, herbs. To palate crispy and fresh, slightly watery. Finishes half dry, hops, grass, notes from too roasted toast. Overall fresh and tasty for the low abv. (Bought 500ml bottle abv3.7% at Kjeller 5, Tromsø)
