4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 MarkQ (58) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 5, 2013
I’m glad I bought this today... I’d be glad to drink this on a daily basis but the price is a bit high in Vancouver ($6.50). Bitter enough and fairly drinkable. British beers are good...

Simple caramel aroma. Nutty papery body, some toffee. Finish dry. A bit boring.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow tasting, thanks to Chris, 20/01/13.
Hazed mid golden with a good sized white head that retains well.
Nose is light fruits, pale malt, orange peel, citrus.
Taste follows with a touch of herb and spice.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish.
Not bad !
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 wimpyjoe (1672) - Manchester, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2013
Clear golden ale with a slightly complex character. The aroma is citrus, fruity but slightly biscuity. The latter of these characters is again evident in its flavour but again its orange and citrus fruits are obvious. All this makes it very tasty. No head and looks a little flat.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DuffMan (5192) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 1, 2012
Bottle. Deep bronze colour, average white head. Aroma is very evocative of cut hay on a hot August day. Some light toast too. Palate is quite grainy, with just a little toast and a little grassy hops. A pleasant summer beer, as promised.

Bottled 05/06/12. A nice orangey coloured beer with an off-white pool of head and lacing. A good citrussy beer. Oranges and lemons. Quite juicy. A little sweetness to balance. Really good.
