Medium beige head. Clear deep red body with light carbonation. Fruity dusty wild berry aroma with caramelly toffee notes. Dry-sweet earthy perfumy wild berry taste with toffee and caramel notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity wild berry aftertaste with dusty strawy roasty notes. Really nice, and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, Meny Strømmen Storsenter.)

Cask conditioned handpump Cordwainer Northampton 30/03/ A dark ruby coloured beer with a white head. Not much to the nose but a decent malty and hoppy balance to the mouth. A bit of toast and a bitter finish. Reasonable.

0.5l bottle. This is a crystal clear ruby colored one with a nice medium sized light beige top. On the nose I get traces of cocoa and chocolate paper, sweet crystal malts, some deep dark caramel and traces of nuts. I have to admit it smells really nice right about now this. The good impression I got in the aroma continues in the flavor. Dark caramel almost candy-sweet, it has a malt combo I really fancy this. Some fruity plums are also recognized in here. The bitterness is also really present in this one. Hard to tear anything apart in this as it feels well integrated. High quenching potential this. Won’t be surprised if I buy this again. 16.02.2013

50cl bottle from Meny Ringnes park. Pours clear copper coloured with an off-white head. Caramelly aroma with malt, berries, fruits and some hoppy and herbal notes. Sweet and caramelly with some acidic notes and a fairly dry and quite bitter finish. Light to medium body. Slightly strange, and not quite my cup of tea, but still quite decent.
