Final amer et long.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle ordered from the brewery. Poured a clear, light golden, with a thin white head. Aroma was fairly light, some sweeter grains coming through, mixed with perfumed hops. Flavours of citrus hops, spruce and some corn. Finish was sweet grains, resin and biscuit. One of the best gluten free beers out there (probably the best brewed in the UK, that I’ve tried).

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
500 ml bottle at home, poured into a big Guinness glass. ABV 6%
Deep golden yellow colour on the body, with a snow white head on top, one finger in size, thick, with great retention, leaving medium lacing around the glass.
Aroma has a bit of barnyard, some funk but also seems nicely hopped, with light citrus, grapefruit and herbs.
Very nice taste, hoppy enough, fruity but subtle, with citrus, pine, strong bitterness going all the way to the aftertaste and hanging there for a long time. Alcohol notes too but barely notable, on the finish.
Medium body, good soft carbonation. Oily palate.
Big surprise this one, as I got it along with a bunch of other beers from the same place and most of them were mediocre, but this one is very good.
