Strong and well hopped for the voyage sending IPA from the Wolds to the World. Interestingly brewed with a pale Wold grown malt base, a triple hop blend and Maize for the head retention. Such triple hopped beers need hot full flavoured foods to accompany them!

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy hoppy aroma, a touch of hay, hints of lemon biscuit. Taste is moderately sweet, biscuity malty, hoppy overtones with a lemon note, hints of lemon biscuit, a touch of balm, moderate hop bitterness. Pronounced, IPA-suitable maltiness.

Zapach, ledwie się unosi. Początkowo czuć lekkie owoce, ale szybko znikają i pozostaje mocna goryczka, taka bardziej grapefruitowa niż chmielowa. Ziemista na finiszu. W porównaniu do naszych, polskich craftów, wodniste.

Piwo złote, klarowne. Piana obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa, jednak szybko opada do obrączki. Lepi szkło. W zapachu delikatne cytrusy i niestety wyraźny aceton. W smaku wyraźna goryczka. Lekko zalegająca. Wysycenie średnie. Wytrawne, by nie powiedzieć wodniste.

Aroma weak, sweet, bit fruity, some alcohol too. Nice golden color, clean. Foam very short, weak lacing. Taste strong, a bit of bananas, some spices (coriander), nice, pretty strong bitterness. Some alcohol again... Nothing special, decent beer tho.

Aroma: straw, dry, fresh grass, some grain malts. Appearance: clear gold, small, frothy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: malty, grain and cereals, dominate by floral and grassy hops, light bitter in the finish. Overall: OK Golden Ale. Pint at GBBF 2015, Kensington Olympia.

Dorata limpida, schiuma bianca poco persistente.

Cask at GBBF. A kind of pale strong ale with thick but loosely structured, off-white head and hazy peach blonde colour. Aroma of field flowers representing noble European hop character, hints of strawberry and biscuit, roses, fried egg, some white bread. Dryish taste (this is apparently gluten free) with a malt fruity edge, some sweetness coming through, bit oily mouthfeel, light floral hop bitterness with an earthy bittering character but perhaps lacking some retronasal aroma. English style IPA alright, but too subdued in hop character to stand up against the new American IPA wave even for this substyle.
