COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Strong and well hopped for the voyage sending IPA from the Wolds to the World. Interestingly brewed with a pale Wold grown malt base, a triple hop blend and Maize for the head retention. Such triple hopped beers need hot full flavoured foods to accompany them!

500ml bottle. Pours deep golden with thin head. Malty and fruity aroma. Apricot and grapefruit, a good amount of malt but not too heavy, plenty of hops and a long, sharp, bitter finish. Definitely one I wouldn’t mind drinking again.

Dorata limpida, schiuma bianca poco persistente.

At Great British Beer Festival 2015. Clear pale golden beer with a small offwhite head. Malty caramel aroma, fruity, grassy, hay notes. Fruity hop flavor, grass, hay, citrus, grapes. Decent beer.

Cask at GBBF. A kind of pale strong ale with thick but loosely structured, off-white head and hazy peach blonde colour. Aroma of field flowers representing noble European hop character, hints of strawberry and biscuit, roses, fried egg, some white bread. Dryish taste (this is apparently gluten free) with a malt fruity edge, some sweetness coming through, bit oily mouthfeel, light floral hop bitterness with an earthy bittering character but perhaps lacking some retronasal aroma. English style IPA alright, but too subdued in hop character to stand up against the new American IPA wave even for this substyle.

50cl bottle at home from beerritz, uk. Body is clear pale, head is small, off-white, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Nose is slightly malty, flavor is first simple lagerish, then light grapefruit, spices, malt, orange peel. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Finish is quite long lasting hoppy medium to heavy bitter, light sweet, slightly salty. Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation. Easy, refreshing.
