Clear golden pour with a frothy white head. Citrus aroma. Citrus malt flavour with a tangy finish.

Bottle from Waitrose Sidford. Clear golden with a small white head, lovely and quite intensive and fragrant hop aroma. Sweetish malty with delicious hop flavours, fruity, citrusy, fragrant. Bitter-sweet and fruity, really delicious.

Cask at the Green Man, Mansion House. Pale orange, still, small bubbly white head. Aroma is musty, light citrussy hops, some sweet pineappley caramel. Body is medium to light, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is light, a little soapy, resin, tea, spice, soft bitterness. Pretty decent.

Bottle from ales by mail. Poured clear and golden in colour with a tight white head. Floral and citrus aroma. Well fruited flavours with hints of spice. Some sweet bitterness from a well hopped beer.

A nice refreshing ale. Golden caramel colour, accompanied by a light toffee spiciness. Decent lasting head. One that I will get again. I tried a bottled 500ML version.

Cask at Water House (Wetherspoon’s), Durham. £1.99 Very pale colour and dry taste belying surprisingly thick mouthfeel. Malty, biscuit notes. Wouldn’t want more than a couple but quite impressed.
