3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Retired? Really? I’ve had this sitting on a shelf next to me for a good eight months without realising. Ah well, now I’ve opened it... Clear golden yellow colour with a fluffy white head. Some lemony freshness on the nose with lemon peel, lemon curd and lemon floor cleaner, but in saying that, it is a beautiful meld of lemon. Tingly mouthfeel and light flavours with (surprise, surprise) lemon and maybe a bit of borage honey as well. It is crisp, like green apple peel crisp, and zingy. Rather good all told.

Such a pitty that this beer is retired. By far one of the best Blonde-beers I have aver tasted. Very nice and aromatic palate but very soft mouthfeel and sweet taste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Old rating from a couple of years ago, found in old scoresheets from a tasting session with Benzai at Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Not a lot of notes taken. Golden colour, lightly spicy, yeasty, fruits and some bitter. Nice beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
11.2 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a 15 % hazy dulled yellow orange color, formed a bubbly white head that did not lace. Aroma of straw, yeast, and light wheat. Hits the mouth with light medium body, malt is extremely light even for the style, various spices in the middle, finish is drying and a very light hint of vanilla. It’s not that bad...

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale golden colour with a haze. Firm head that produces a beautiful lacing. Fruity aroma’s, peaches, citrus lead to a duvelish finish, a strong carbonation that brings bitterness in the spicey finish
