Quite a good beer, though it reminds me a lot of Gouden Carolus. Looks nice in the glass, has a good aroma,Tastes rather good.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge. Beer with a deep brown/dark colour, with a creamy head. Coffee and spice aroma. Great coffee chocolate taste, with strong palate. Go try it. Not unforgettable

Een bier met niet zoveel smaak aan. Dan is de Wolf 7 voor mij een lekkerder bier.

Wolf was one of the first Belgian craft beers I tried after moving here. Had this out at some restaurants but now bringing it home for the review. The 8 is a lovely dark brown with a great moguled, shaving-cream head. Maybe a bit over-carbonated, but it also helps it stay brisk at 8.2%. Nice branding to match - consistent, and a good series effect with the 7, 8, and 9.

Pours a nice dark reddish amber color. Aromas of fruit, and some other hints, maybe some spices, maybe caramel. Flavor is a bittersweet, malty, and a hint of hops with a nice bittersweet finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of matl and caramel. The falvor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, metal, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
