Ligt eigenlijk in de lijn met de Wolf 8, spijtig genoeg. Dan is de wolf 7 een veel lekkerder bier.

To follow Wolf 8. Another great pour, this one more red in color. However, slightly metallic impression - so overall I prefer the 8. Need to try the 7 again now to complete the series reviews.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber; massive slightly brown head that quickly goes down. Nose is caramel malt, slight choco/coffee roast. A bit sweet on the tongue, with a soft bitter in the background to finish. Medium body but solid as well. Impressed, like a bit more than the blond.

Thuis uit fles, van Drankenhal Lamers in Haps, mooi koper/bruine heldere kleur, flinke stevige witte/creme kleurige schuimkraag, smaakt zoet, fruitig, beetje droog

11.2 oz. bottle served in tumbler- poured a somewhat murky darkened maroon with brown tints, huge 2 finger foamy head quietly and slowly bubbled away to become a large film, medium carbonation, Aroma of spices, some herbal quality, grass, pepper, and earth- nice. Hits the mouth with a light medium body, fruit sensations found from start to finish, malt holds up well, a small licorice on the finish, somewhat drying. It’ll have to do for my last beer for awhile... GULP.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy and micro-floaty-laden dark amber to light-brown coloured hue with a short and slightly tanned foamy head. Citrus-fruity and moderately toasted malty aroma with caramel and a spicy Belgian yeast-character. Sweet flavour, almost full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly sugary dark malty base with fruity accents; quite sweet and mildly toasted and slightly leafy malty finish. 27.X.12

Brown coloured beer with large brownish head and lots of carbonation. Malty fruited aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is malty sweet roasted ending bitter.
