Bottle. Pours a clear honey-like orange/straw with a thin-ish white head. Aroma is not very pronounced. There is a little mango, a hint of grapefruit and even a very little cheddar cheese. It’s quite thin on the palate. Taste is a litle bitter honey with hoppy floral notes, but it’s quite watery so any flavour present is quickly washed away.

Light amber, nice chunky head with some solid retention. Mostly a caramelly maltiness, some faint bitter hops on the finish. Solid session beer, we need more of these in the u.s.

Cask (Regal, Cambridge)
7 Fruity malty aroma.
4 Bold gold, small head.
7 Loads of esters in the retronasals, lots going on. Big and mashy and malty, a little milky.
4 Soft palate, carbonation low. Fruity and floral, but also with a pleasant hoppy aspect.
14 Proper bitter, plenty of character.

Pint at the Old Manor in Bracknell. Ok blonde ale, it tastes pretty average. It took a couple of sips to ’get’ this one.

500 ml bottle. Oxford, England.
Deep golden colour with tiny off-white head. Sweet fruit tea like mild bitter hoppiness in aroma. Flavour is caramel, malt and bitterish fruity hops. Highly drinkable.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London) An average bitter. I can’t think of anything special to mention about this one. It was easy to drink, no surprises - neither in taste nor in aroma and no flaws either. Good session beer that won’t get your attention.
