Bottle. Amber beer with an active head due to the bottle conditioning. The aroma is spicey and dry and the flavour is very dry and slightly sour. Overall a reasonable pale bitter.

Bottle. Lightly hazy golden colour with a huge white head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Nice hoppy bitter flavour with a touch of grapefruit; very crisp and refreshing. Nice, I’d like to try it from cask.

Dark golden ale with a thin off-white head. Light malts with pleasant fresh hoppy notes. Good malt with a nice discreet hops in final, and nice alcohol warmth. Medium bodied. Good recommendation from the landlord.

Cask@The Wenlock Arms, London. Nice light hoppy cask bitter. Slight hints of grape and fresh citrus, light salty dry finish, very drinkable if not overly exciting.

Cask, GBBF 2004. Faintly hazy gold, no head and minimal condition. Gentle sweet malt and faint grapefruity hops in the nose, slightly nutty in the mouth with some more grapefruit and a short hoppy finish.
