| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Bottle, shared by fonefan. It pours a clear, golden body under a white head. Butterscotch and citrus in the aroma, not much else, and not very pronounced, but at least without off-flavors. The aroma is much the same, and has a piney, citrusy bitter finish. Medium, quite effervescent mouthfeel. Quite refreshing and drinkable, but also un-challenging. Would probably be easy to down a few, but also boring. Spicy hop and orange peel flavour underpinned by more fruit and some subtle malt. Dry, quite bitter finish. Very crisp and refreshing. Excellent stuff. Cask, GBBF 2004, with Dan Brown.
