A Mes rate: Cask at The Crown.
Standard blonde with a thin white head. Perfect hoppy stuff with lemon and earthy notes plus a nice dryness. Aroma is just slightly better. Sessionable and very tasty.

Cask@The Wenlock Arms, London. Nice light hoppy cask bitter. Slight hints of grape and fresh citrus, light salty dry finish, very drinkable if not overly exciting.

Cask Conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Amber coloured bitter with thin head. Sweetish malty background with a fragrant hoppiness to the fore, an unremarkable beer but saved by a long refreshing finish.

Bottle, shared by fonefan. It pours a clear, golden body under a white head. Butterscotch and citrus in the aroma, not much else, and not very pronounced, but at least without off-flavors. The aroma is much the same, and has a piney, citrusy bitter finish. Medium, quite effervescent mouthfeel. Quite refreshing and drinkable, but also un-challenging. Would probably be easy to down a few, but also boring. (080822)

Bronze colour. Strong floral, fruity, hop aroma. Spicy hop and orange peel flavour underpinned by more fruit and some subtle malt. Dry, quite bitter finish. Very crisp and refreshing. Excellent stuff. Cask, GBBF 2004, with Dan Brown.
