3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A slightly hazed amber color with an off-white head. Nose has some herbal and floral hop notes with a mild pine. A decent amount of bread, some toasted malt, and a light sweetness to it. Sort of has a little bit of a tea flavor to it. Most of the hop profile is floral in nature with a light herbal and pine quality to it. Fairly bitter, but still somewhat sweet. Mostly bread flavors in terms of the malt, but a bit of toffee to it as well.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Spices, herb and oat on the nose. Appearance is a deep red with a light foam. Taste is subtle herbs with a strong bitter hop presence and a nice alcohol sting on the finish. Some caramel malts are present in the back of the palate. I’d give this an A- rating.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Calabasas location. Pours with a hazed bronze body and a lasting, barely off-white head that leaves good lace. Aromas are fruity, floral, caramel, toffee and currants. Flavors of toffee, caramel, coffee, brown sugar, citrus and a lingering bitterness. Lively bubbles with a lingering sweet-bitter interplay. Solid beer.
